ABOUT US
Cuppy is a small social enterprise set out to weave the beauty and richness of our Polynesian culture and languages into meaningful gifts and keepsakes.
We are co-founded by a Māori-Samoan couple who are proud of their whakapapa (genealogy) and cultural journey. They had 3 things in mind when creating Cuppy:
- How can we see more polynesian languages and cultures in the items we buy.
- How can we do our part and give back to our community that sustains us.
-
How do we incorporate well-being and mindfulness.
We have curated a products that celebrate representation, are sweet reminders of home and accessible. Our goal is to make Cuppy a social enterprise by donating a portion of proceeds to a mental health organisation focused on improving outcomes for our rangatahi (youth).
"Filling one cup at a time" encourages mindfulness and encourages small acts of impact. 'Cups' is likened to the different roles, responsibilities and challenges we face everyday. It’s only human that we try to fill all 'cups' in our lives, resulting in burn out, despair and unworthiness - Cuppy is a reminder that filling one cup at a time is enough.
